Topographical surveys are undertaken in a multitude of situations, from residential property to open terrain.
Total Station and GPS technology is deployed to capture terrain data, which is processed and manipulated via appropriate software systems.
Surface modelling software is employed to enable three-dimensional analysis of the modelled surface to generate contours, perspective views and volumes.
Completed surveys are presented as hard copy plans or held digitally and stored as a 3D AutoCAD file, when further analysis may be undertaken.
From the original terrain data, design criteria can be integrated with the modelled data to enable setting out of proposed surface change.
